The National Radiological Protection Board has been asked by Health Ministers to set up an Independent Expert Group to consider public health concerns about the use of mobile phones.

Under the chairmanship of Sir William Stewart, FRS, FRSE, the Expert Group (IEGMP) is conducting a rigorous assessment of existing research and will give advice based on the present state of knowledge.

As part of its review, the Expert Group is holding a series of open meetings at various locations in the UK. The fourth meeting will take place in London.

New Burlington Place is located between Regent Street and Savile Row; the turning from Regent Street is opposite Hamleys. Oxford Circus and Piccadilly underground stations are within easy walking distance and several car parks are nearby.

The public and any interested groups are invited to attend the meeting and give their views on any issues related to possible health effects of mobile phones and transmission masts.
